Position: Crisis Care Outreach Worker
Accountability: Shelter Manager/Executive Director
Hours of Work: 30 hours a week – primarily days, some evenings, and weekends
Rate of Pay: $24.36 – $25.12
Location: 1 McGrigor Street
Start Date: Immediately
ABOUT THE ROLE: Through a feminist and intersectional lens, the Crisis Care Outreach worker will engage in community development, raise awareness, and create pathways for women. Through mobile engagement, the worker will provide safety planning, education, individual & group counseling, crisis & immigration support. In addition, the position requires the individual to be able to work independently as well as work as a team member, co-ordinate and create/maintain exemplary relationships with community resources/members.
